Terms & Conditions

Dogs will be groomed after the client has agreed to and signed the declaration below. Welfare Act: Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, we have a duty of care to the dogs in our salon. We will always treat the dog with kindness and respect and never intentionally cause harm to any dogs under our care. Veterinary treatment: Of course, accidents do happen, and on the rare occasion one occurs, we may have to take the dog to the closest vet, this may not necessarily be your own. We will ring you to inform you this has happened. If injury or illness is due to an underlying issue and not the fault of the groomer, we are not liable for any charges, we therefore request that you advise us of any pre-existing conditions Under the Veterinary Surgeons Act we cannot diagnose, prescribe, or treat any conditions that your dog has but we will administer emergency first aid if necessary. Dangerous Dogs Act: Under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, dogs should not be out of control in public spaces. If your dog is snappy in the salon we reserve the right to muzzle your dog. If we believe the dog could cause harm to itself or others, grooming will be suspended and you will be asked to collect your dog. We reserve the right to charge for services that have been given. If your dog takes longer to groom due to aggression or takes both groomers to groom them the price may be increased  Parasites: if your dog is found to have parasites such as fleas, lice, or mites there will be a charge of an extra £20  for the use of flea shampoo and/or the cost of fumigating the salon. If your dog is found to have ticks we will remove it if safe to do so. Vaccinations: dogs must have their annual booster vaccination for grooming and puppies for their first two vaccines.  No shows & late arrivals Not showing up is damaging to a small business so we use the online system to ensure reminders are sent out with lots of notice if you require to change the appointment avoiding a loss for a small business. If someone simply decides to not show we are usually unable to fill the gap with such short notice so require the appointment to be paid in full if you wish to use our services in the future. We can accommodate up to 15 minutes of late arrival. After 15 minutes of lateness unfortunately it then takes time off the next customer so we will need to reschedule. Deposits are required depending on the size & breed of the dog. This can vary from £20-£45 The remainder is then paid upon the day of the appointment. If there are unfortunate circumstances we are understanding & will do our best to help. We please ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel without losing the deposit. If you don’t show up with no notice we ask for the appointment to be paid in full before re rooking Dogs in season: if your dog is in season please advise us as soon as possible so that we can re-schedule your appointment. Dogs in season can pose a risk to the groomer due to mood swings.
